The first series of courses in 2026 will take place in January, with a physical gathering in beautiful Lofoten!
Learn everything you need to show your guests the stars, in an engaging and believable way.
You'll learn how telescopes work and how to guide your guests to observe planets, galaxies, star clusters and planetary nebulae. The course gives you both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to create the best outdoor astronomy experiences.
The astro-guide followed us to a dark and cosy place beyond the hotel, where a fire had been lit and seating had been prepared in soft gravy leather. It was only when I sat down that I noticed all the stars! I was dumbfounded by the number, and at one point I could see my own shadow in the starlight.
-A stellar experience
The course is offered as a combination of webinar and physical seminar at idyllic Skårungen in Lofoten.
Digital introduction to the course and theoretical part. Participants will receive a compendium with astronomical stories, a description of the equipment and what a star experience can contain.

Digital follow-up and preparation for the internship, which is carried out at the individual's workplace under the guidance of the instructors.
Individual guidance from an instructor and help to develop stellar experiences with a personalised twist tailored to your destination.
